Team Adidas Lou-E-ville Elite is a basketball club created for the purpose of serving the young ladies of the St. (Lou)is- (E)dwards(ville) areas. The club was created to provide mentoring, academic support and instruction in the game of basketball to prepare the young ladies for opportunities to compete at the collegiate level.
Coach Jackson has been heading the Class of 2013 Lou-E-ville Elite Team for the past 3 seasons. The team is comprised of the best talent that the St. Louis Metropolitan area has to offer with 2 Nationally ranked athletes and one of the most highly recruited athletes in the nation in Edwardsville High School's forward, Emmonnie Henderson.
The Lou-E-ville Elite program is committed to excellence and strives to develop well rounded student-athletes; the team boasts a team GPA over a 3.6 and spends time on character development, life skills training and community service along with the development of basketball players who are viable division I prospects. The staff of the 2013 Lou-E-ville Elite team collaborates with high school coaches to supplement their teaching and assist players in reaching their potential both on and off the court. The team competes at the national level where a reputation of fundamental development and hard work have become the trademark of the group.
The players and coaches of Lou-E-ville Elite would like to thank you for your time and continued support of our efforts to provide training and competitive opportunities for the young ladies of the Edwardsville and St. Louis Metropolitan Community in basketball. Your contributions have allowed the girls to compete in various venues during the 2010 summer with more opportunities to come. Our summer schedule for this year included a trip to the LasVegas as well as a trip to the Nike National Event in Tennessee.
The ladies grabbed 1st place in the Red Division at the prestigious Nike Event and earned the right and opportunity for various other exposure opportunities due to their fine showing.The girls will go on to compete in the Chicago land during the open viewing period in October to finish up the 2010 summer/fall season.
The cost to compete continues to be high for the players and families of the program.As greater opportunities are presented to the young ladies, greater requirements for travel and equipment become needed.Support for the Lou-E-ville Elite program can happen in many ways.
